What Can You Do With HegEOS

Buy call and put options for profits or to hedge your positions. Sell call and put options as one of the liquidity providers and earn yield. Enjoy non-custodial options trading.

Buy EOS Call Options

An EOS call option is option contract giving the owner the right to buy a specified amount of EOS at a fixed price within a certain time.

For example, a single EOS call option contract may give a holder the right to buy 100 EOS at $4 each ($400) up until the expiry date in four weeks. If they paid $26 for this right and during the period of holding the price of EOS, say, rises to $5.53, a holder can exercise their contract (buy 100 EOS at $4) and earn $153 in net profits.

  • Potential Profit: Unlimited as the level of EOS increases

  • Potential Loss: Limited to premium paid for EOS call option contract

Buy EOS Put Options

An EOS put option is option contract giving the owner the right to sell a specified amount of EOS at a fixed price within a certain time.

For example, a single EOS put option contract may give a holder the right to sell 100 EOS at $4 each ($400) up until the expiry date in four weeks. If they paid $26 for this right and during the period of holding the price of EOS, say, falls to $2.66, a holder can exercise their contract (sell 100 EOS at $4) and earn $153 in net profits.

  • Potential Profit: Substantial and increases as the level of EOS decreases

  • Potential Loss: Limited to premium paid for EOS put option contract

Sell Call Options and Earn EOS (While mining ECRV)

Provide EOS to the liquidity pool and start earning up to 24% APY (est.). Your EOS alongside with EOS provided by other LPs will be used for selling call options.

Call options buyers will be paying premiums in EOS for the right to buy EOS at the liquidity pool at a fixed price during a certain period. Premiums are distributed among all of the liquidity providers according to their share in the pool.
